Got the tune-up completed and I noticed that there is a wee bit more noise coming from possibly the cam chain but I also noticed that the exhaust pipe for #2 piston is not as warm as the other 3 when running, stuck valve or the carb for #2 needs adjustment?

Check the compression and then check valve clearances. Do a dry compression check and then a "wet one" by squirting a small amount of oil in the cylinder after the plugs are removed. Caution! oil will come out the sparkplug holes doing this test.

You will need a compression tester to check cylinder combustion pressure (or lack of). All cylinders should be fairly close. This should be done with the throttle wide open and turned over with the starter motor.

try spraying started fluid, gasoline, or even wd40 directly into the carb, if the cylinder starts firing while you are manually adding fuel then there is a blockage in the carb.

also check that cylinder for proper spark... if you are missing the spark check all the coil connections.

Do check your plugs. I had a bad brand new spark plug that wasn't firing. I guess it must have been dropped or something. Good luck.
