o rings

I was just gittin ready to put the head back on my 1000 when I noticed 4 groves on the outside 4 studs that look like they are for o rings but none of that size came with my gasket set. What the :huh: What are they called and why are they not in my gasket set? There were other o ring in it it is suposed to be a full set with head gasket

I have a 1982 KZ1100 and I also noticed that those four 'o'rings were not included in my kit...luckily I noticed during reassembly and had saved the old ones. Not sure why they are not included but they ain't:huh:

I looked around and found the old o rings and there hard as a rock and some of them arnt ever round. I had an oil leak at the head and I figure that was why I guess I'll find out.
