Yamaha's pushing the boudaries with this design and the cross plane R1. Not sure how effective they will be but it's nice to see the innovation. Innovation is something we could use more of in the domestic auto industry.

Buell has a cutting edge 1125 with a 4 valve, liquid cooled, counter balanced engine. It's an impressive achievement for a US manufacutre but consider that the engine is made by Rotax in Austia, shocks by Ohlins in Sweden, brakes by Nissin Kogyo in Japan, etc...

Speaking of Buell - has anyone picked up the brand since it was dropped by HD?
