Try www.DennisKirk.com and look up part #43188... = black kerkers for the 1980-2 KZ750E model. This will be the same as the R1 model. Bit pricey but they are, after all genuine Kerkers...best sound in the world:)

I tried searching the site, but I searched my model number and turned up the MAC systems.
I'd definitely pony up the cash for a set of these once I can confirm the bike is 100% running well - that is unless I can't find an equally nice system on E-bay. (Good thing the CDN dollar is doing so well!)
Thanks SO much for the part number - all the difference in the world! (Plus I know what models of bikes to try for any future listing.
I've gotten more help in the last 24 hrs of signing up than I've found in the last couple years just randomly searching the net. I can't help but fix it up now!
Thanks a lot guys! (Feel free to keepit coming - at least I know I can get a new system that rocks if need be!)

You're seriously going to spend $450.00 on a Kerker setup when you could mod something else to fit, just because of the sound?
I don't know if you're witing helps range man. hehehe

Although I did find the very same exhaust on amawonline.com/kerker.htm for $369.00 USD.
That's at the extended range of what I want to spend - but if I go though re-painting the whole bike, and it's running sweet, then I'd definitley splurge on the exhaust system to make the bike perfect.
I'm not going to get the money out of the bike of course - but if it saves me the hassle of finding, modifying, and painting - then it'll be worth it.
But I won't spend the money until after I get the carb set up, and I've had a chance to sort out the parts to make sure the bike is going to come together and run well. (I'm still going to look at a modified system first though - the new system is just a back up that's REALLY nice to know that it's still available.)

Hopefully it fits...
If you can let me know if it allows me to keep the center stand and if the oil filter is still accessible?
Ideally I'd like both - but the oil filter access is the most important.
If it does/will work - let me know how much you want for it...
Thanks twowheeled terror!

I'd be really interested in hearing about any proven difference in power output with any of the four into one headers myself. Personally I think that power wise they are all about the same, I have read a lot of claims about how the X Pipe produces more power than any other, but I have yet to see a dyno sheet.
It very possibly does. Just being able to smoothly flow a little more CFM will effect the torque and power curves.
But here's what people don't always take into consideration... your modifications all have to compliment eachother.
It's like an orchestra. If everyone in the orchestra is good at what they do and is playing correctly it's amazing sounding... if you've got a few pro's, a few amateurs and a few beginners, you'll get some dissonance. Same with modifications.
You need to consider intake flow, where the air is going throught the engine, and exhaust, intake and exhaust ports, exhaust manifolds, etc.
I don't know that modern sportbikes or aftermarket exhausts really increase power so much as increase flow, creating more power on th ebutt dyno.
