Need rings for old Wiseco pistons was created by headspace
Top of dome is marked C, 70 mm bore size. Wrist pin boss is marked 4020 and a W in a football shaped logo.
Called APE but they weren't much help because the pistons are an older model.

Anybody re-ring a set of these and can remember where you picked up your rings?

All help would be a appreciated.

If I have the cylinders honed can I just use the old rings, pistons and rings don't look like they have much wear but I don't know the history of the engine.

It is wonderfull how helpfull a company could be once you say something on the web. I have had the same problems with APE. I call and there is a lot of Ho-Humm around any subject. I just do my research, and find who their suppliers are and go directly to them because they answer all of my questions.

Wow... hope you realize that APE is the ONLY company of its sort to actually take part on this website and provide any meaningful help. Do you have anyone else who sells performance parts for our vintage bikes that is better? Why don't they hang out on vintage bike forums? You know, like APE does... Just curious... Actually, there are quite a few companies that make money from vintage bike performance parts selling and I am surprised that more of them don't seem to be part of the vintage bike forum scene.

APE has helped me in the past and will help me in the future. I don't mind giving them my money for work done.
