I talked to a kz drag racer from my area tonight, and i am going over to his house tommorow to look at a gpz head he has. He said it is read to bolt onto my z1 engine, it has all the mod's done to fit along with a new valve jod, and it was ported and polished. He said all i need to do is go to the APE website and get the cam tower conversion kit. He wants 100 buck's for it

you will go from 8.5:1 compression to around 6.5:1 compression really fast,good for an old john deere farm tractor but not so good for a motorcycle unless its running a turbo with a lot of boost to overcome it!B)

If i do get it and if i know me i probally will, would anybody have a good 73 to 80 900 or 1000 head they wanna trade or sell to me?

Well im not going to be going to look at that gpz head, i just won a head off of a low millage 1979 kz 1000. I have bought things from this guy before, and the stuff is always like he describes, he said there were no unusual noises and no smoke. Now all i need is my vance and hines sportsman sidewinder pipe and i will be ready to rock.
