Got my e bay cams was created by Buda

Got my cams in the mail the other day. Standard J cams for my LTD is there anything I should do with them before installing? I've never used used cams in anything before.

Just make sure they are free of rust, and i would say put a light coat of oil on them prior to instilation.

check them for pitting and galling and measure them aqgainst your stock cams to see if there is much differance. measure across the lobe and then measure across the base circle and then subtract the two figures and that will be your lift.

slop some assembly lube on the lobes and bearing journals before installing them

also loctite the sprocket bolts i like to use the red stuff it seems to hold pretty good and the bolts wont back out.
