KZ750 e1 won't start

Hi All !
I am new to this forum, But I am big fan of street bikes and especially the KZ750 e1. However I have had the motorcycle for couple years now. I ride it occasionally to work. I have a problem of starting it, Once I start it it gets going just fine. I replace the battery this summer I took it for a ride a couple times and one day I tried to start it and it just makes the clicks with half choke but wouldn't start the engine. Any pointer is appreciated ..

I can't recall if this E1 of yours uses Mikuni or Keihin carbs but if they are Mik BS34, then the enrichener circuit and pilot circuits need to be cleaned. If the carbs are Keihin CV34, then the slow jet circuit is the culprit and needs to be cleaned. You may also have a bike whose state of tune doesn't allow it to start easily and you should perform all tune up steps in the order indicated by a factory service manual of Clymers manual for that bike.
