1978 KZ650 oil pan was created by unkleremis
I have a 1978 KZ650 that the oil pan plug has been stripped on. As a temp solution, I have put in a larger plug but I am thinking about replacing the oil pan with one I found from a 1981. Can anyone tell me whether the 1981 will work on the 1978?
Thanks in advance!

Welcome aboard, yes you can. If you find one from a GPZ750 it has oil cooler hook ups in the front. all kz650 pans interchange.
