venolia pistons. 750 or 1000? was created by jordan
hey, i purchased a set of pistons on ebay for a buddy of mine yesterday. They went for $53, and dont come with rings. They were supposedly big bore pistons for a 750, with 13.5:1 comp. These pistons were pretty old pistons but were still new and never used. The company name is VENOLIA. I contacted them and they dont make pistons for the kaws unless specially ordered but they will make rings to fit any piston. After my bid i was told that he "goofed" and now he thinks they are 1015cc pistons. He measured them at 69.4mm. I checked on ape's site and 70mm is 1015, and the 810 is 69mm. Which bike do you guys think they are for? I asked him to measure the wrist pin but have had no luck with a response. Here is a picture

looking at the combustion chamber size i'd say they are probably the 810 kit.the cut outs in the middle of the crowns are for spark plug reliefs

not a problem those look like some nasty freakin pistons jordan that will certainly bring that little motor to life looks like you could have some fun with them if you can get big enough cams and flow out of your head.

haven't seen this brand of piston for around 25 yr or so, used to be an agent for a company called denco headed by dennis dean but out of business some 25 yrs plus, they were the main peddler of this venolia brand piston.

from memory 69.4 mm piston was for the 1980 998cc j model kaw :)

keith1 indeed they did with the 750cc h2 series cycle with bob carpenter doing the riding choirs on the singles and then boris murray on the triple triple rig and then turned their hand to develop the z series 4 strokes with more success with mike bruso at the helm until their demize :(

i used to hang (drink)and ride with a guy who had quite a collection of two strokes and he had a set of pipes hanging from the ceiling in the garage and told me they were denco pcs...he had a brown 750 triple that i had the pleasure ? of riding....their reputation of being straight line screamers and lets just say less than stellar in handling and braking was well deserved...
