I just got my copy of the newly released second edition of Kevin Cameron's Sportbike Performance Handbook. I highly recommend it. If I had this book a couple a years ago I could have saved chasing my tail around a lot. Long time rider and car mechanic, I just switched over to wrenching bikes a few years ago. This was a real learning experience for me. I know it would help a lot of guys because I see the posts where they are struggling with things this book answers.

Exit, Thanks, I'll let my son get me a copy for christmas. Mr.Cameron thru his mag. articles over the years has probly given me more insight than the schools I've attended. G

I bought a version of that book about 10 years ago. (It's the version with a cover shot of a ZX11 on the back wheel.)
Not sure how much has changed in the new release but that book has some useful stuff. Some of the theories in the engine section might require reading through a couple times to understand it.
