Does anyone know where I can get the specs on an old set of cams I have?

They are R.C. Engineering 400 cams. Back in the day, I was told that the 400 and 415 cams were the same.

I would like to "degree" the cams in rather than just lining up the timing marks.

Contacted R.C., but they were no help.

.424 Lift , set to 108 lobe centers. Int open 19.5 BTDC closes 55.5 ABDC
Exhaust, opposite.

I think I have a brand new set of those around here somewhere.

Excellent sir.

Thanks.

One more thing. Do you know what kind of duration those have? Seemed like a lot......

Yes. RC used to use what was called, advertised duration". It was a figure taken at only .010 0r .020" to make it sound like a lot.

The catalog shows. 310 degrees. Just ignore that and the open and close figures I posted, and just degree them at .050" to 108.

Lash is shown as .004" intake and .006" exhaust.
