.395 web cams good sreet power and good for a small motored dragbike. are you raising compression as well because that would help even more.

Where is a good place to buy this set. I went to the web cams site and they are asking $425 does any one know of any better price.
Thanks
Tom

Ive got some Superbike Mike 395 lift, 260 degree duration cams in my 30 year old 1105 motor. I suspect they are restamped Web Cams but they work really well with a street ported head, 10.5 popup pistons. Kerker pipe & 29mm smoothbores. They are the normal shim on top type not the shim under race cams

Most places I go to sell cams for about $400-$425 per set. New price of course. Only other alternative is to find a set on E-Bay or come across some someone who is upgrading and wants to sell them. Not too many places have them anymore for these older bikes. Keep checking E-Bay and put the word out that you are looking. Maybe some will turn up. Might be able to find some .410 or .360 lift also. Not sure if you are stuck on the .395's or not, but may have to compromise some. I know there are a set of .360 lift on E-Bay right now.

KZ1000J (Standard) cams are a step up from the KZ1000M/K cams, next step up is the 83-84 GPz1100 cams, I think they are around .365" lift. Those are the cheap options, after that you get into the expensive cams, APE, Webcams, or MegaCycle, those are the only ones I'm aware of that still make cams for the KZ motors. Or watch eBay for older cams by Yoshimura, Moriwaki, Andrews, etc.
