I decided to make myself some billet block off plates for my 750 LTD. The first style was kindof thick with counterbored holes for the stainless steel cap screws I'm gonna use ... didn't like 'em too bulky. So I milled them dowm to roughly stock thickness at the mount holes and used a different style end mill to mill the grooves ... Now I like 'em .... whatcha all think ?

Plug the holes in the cam covers with threaded aluminum then mill the boxed flange right off the cam cover.
Makes block of plates redundant. I would go that route hadn't I found a Canadian cover.
Nice plates, though. Look like the ones APE sells.

I'm sorry if someone thinks I copied another companys parts. I wasn't even aware they were available elsewhere. These are my own design. I have my drawings and templates. PLUS ... I just made these for myself and not for sale. S0000... Can someone give me the APE website address so I can go look ???

Nevermind ... I found the APE website in the vendor directory. The APE block off plates are much "fancier" than my plates. And very nice I might add ! APE must cut 'em out on a CNC .... mine were simply laid out, dilled, sawed on a band saw and sanded to finish contours, milled to thickness with a fly cutter and ball milled on a Bridgeport mill. (PLUS ... mine were free for me except for a little bit of time.)
