Hindle Pipe

Ive found a guy with a Hindle sidewinder style pipe, its in decent shape, needs a good clean up though. Just wondering if anyone has any info on these things, they dont make them anymore. Also i dont get the mouning setup they use, take a look at the pics and lemme know wut u think

I think the mettal collars replace the stock finned ones, and it looks like it can be taken off without removing the spiggots from the head, so maby it mounts from the rear foot peg i dunno.

The V&H Drag Pipe looks very similar...

These pipes must be extremely loud (depicted for drag racing only)... No baffle and custom mounting required... Probably the same on that Hindle.

Ya OMR, i have heard one on a kawi drag bike. They are ear deafining loud. I would still run one on the street....lol. Im seriously thinking about gettting one for my z1, because it is going to be at the 1/4 mile alot,..........that is if i ever get it done.......or started for that matter.

Those pipes were made by Lang for Raceworks Canada way back when and are basically a copy of the V&H sidewinder, except that the pipe includes spigots not mounting collars as noted . Seemed to work fine,the biggest bitch anyone around here had was the chrome was little dodgy and there are still a few of them in use here in SW Ontario.

i had one on a gs 1000 that i rode for a while while my kawi was out of commision and i won a championship and a wally with it so i'm kind of partial to that pipe buy it it will work well for your budget combo.the pipe makes good power on small motors.
