Engine Sprocket Cover - Race was created by supercharged
Need some help.

I'm looking for a replacement engine sprocket cover similar to ones on race bikes. I have found some similar to PMFRs as seen here , but wantd a full cover.

It appears that ZomibieCustoms has one on his bike as seen here
Anyone have a lead on where I can get one?

Zombiecustoms has an outboard bearing support for his off set front sprocket.

You could fashion your own. You would need to get some aluminum plate and some round tube for the spacers. I got the material I'm making my custom bearing support from Speedy Metals .

I also compare prices with Metal Depot and Online Metals and a few others. Also make sure you go through check out to get shipping rates and sometimes one place will have cheaper prices on the material but more in shipping rates.

SchnitzRacing.com sells them. Look under "Outboard Bearing Support". Here is a shortcut.

if you have a welding shop close by they are normally a lot cheaper than those metal supply places to find material at.;)

Thanks - That is what I was looking for... a full plate. Do you know if this works for stock countershaft sprocket. Now that I found this and saw that Pingel or Kosman may have it, but there they reference the full plate as a support to the offset countershaft sprocket required for wide swingarm/tire.

I guess I'll give Schnitz a call on Monday...

Should work just fine for a stock sprocket. Never did it but these have a boss to support a sprocket that has a "nose" on it that holds a bearing. You just wouldn't use that part and it would just be a cover. This cover gives the sprocket a place to anchor to that supports the outside end of the sprocket as it implies. You won't gain anything over a stock sprocket cover except for the look if you use a stock sprocket though. These are made for 5/8" offset sprockets. You don't need the support feature this has for the stock sprocket or even a 3/8 offset sprocket.

Thanks - If I go in this direction, the Kosman is a bit more beefy with Engine and outer plate for a few bucks less. www.kosman.net/page14.htm
