probably origional pistons or kaw pistons used for a 1st overbore to clean up.ive seen lots of motors with no ridge, depends on how often oil was changed and type of oil used.ived seen a smalblock chevy that was run with synthetic oil from day one that had close to 300,000 on it that still showed crosshatch in cylinder walls B) what does the bore measure out at?;)
Still recovering, some days are better than others.

The 1100 pistons I have on a shelf are stock and say ART. Can post a pic if interested, but it would be Monday before I would be able to.

Art not only made OEM stock pistons, but aftermarket higher compression cast pistons. Back in the 70's they were one of the available performance options for the Z1's - compression around 10.5:1.
