I just put 26's on mine this spring (mine came from a Suzi GS750 instead of the kz1000, but I don't know how much of a difference that makes in performance). I'm running a moderately baffled 4-1 (Kerker baffle with about half the packing removed) and K&N pods. My jetting is as follows:
17.5 pilots, needles on the #4 clip, and 117.5 mains. My Suzi carbs have both air and pilot screws, pilots are at about 7/8 of a turn out from snug and the air screws are about 1 1/4 turns out.
