No recommendations on the exhaust, I just want to say that your bike looks great!

Damn that looks fine! B)

You have any exploded view images of the top triple tree, head light mounting, gauges etc....?

You probably posted but what did you end up with on the counter sprocket/frame clearance configuration?

As for the exhaust... From what I gather, most pipes for the kz's fall under the "sidewinder or street pipe" design similar to Kerker.

Others have had an adapter fabricated to install modern slip on such as Yoshimura, Akrapovic (high $$$), hamaguchi to name a few...

When i did my pipe on my bike, i put a Yoshimura RS-3 slip on fom a katana 600. I used a Vance and Hines 4 into 1 header, i custom bent a mid pipe, and mounted the muffler. I ended up making a strap to hang the can from the rear shock mount. Here is a pic of it mounted, by the way the bike is a 74 z1 900.

the upper tree is a stock zx7 and the headlight bracket is a stock kz or ltd and I mounted it where the key went and stuck the stock key switch in the hole as far as the sprocket I got inpatiant and just slid the tire over so the chain lined up waiting on paint for the front & rear fenders plus exhaust.
