Sorry if this is a novice question, but I tried the search function for an hour/ Will a J 1100 engine bolt directly into a KZ 1000? Thanks.
79 KZ1000 LTD B3, 1075 kit, BS34 carbs, high velocity ported heads, K410 cams, V&H pipe w/custom baffle

It is not a direct bolt on. The J model uses two front engine mounts compared to the Z1/Kz engine that only uses one front engine mount. You can mod your frame to take the J model with relative ease but not a remove/replace procedure.
