KZ1000 Exhaust Collars on KZ900?

As some of you have already accomplished this I have a question...
As depicted in the attached top image, the KZ900 comes with the crown collars and 2 piece split keepers per cylinder exhaust.
I want to upgrade to the KZ1000 configuration lower two images but I'm not sure if the exhaust muffler connecting gasket is the correct ones to replace the split keepers.
Is this correct?
Also, will this fit in my KZ900 head or do I require some modifications for a proper seal?
NOTE: I do realize the exhaust studs on the KZ1000 are 8mm versus the KZ900's 6mm... Washer's will taker care of that.
Thanks

i am using those alum collars with the split gasket holders. the aluminum collars are far superior to the factory heat, cool, and snap ones that look stock. i think the aluminum ones look cooler too !!...the two pc gasket holders are a pain in the ass to install, but they look to be the right ones..looking at your diagram, they dont show a listing for solid rings for my bike and without backing up , i m not sure they have one for yours...would be nice as they look a lot easier to install..i had to back out studs a turn or two
to get alum collars to go on..thicker than the stock jobs..
i would think you would be good with the aluminum collars and the split gasket holders....just my .02.....keith

Both KZ900 and KZ1000 use the split keepers.
The "exhaust muffler connecting gasket" isn't used at the header/port interface. Am thinking it's used to seal the cross-over pipe on oem KZ1000 system (perhaps #13).
Good Luck!

Ok, thanks guys for the infomrmation/confirmation, I think I have it down where I still require the split collars with the new style exhaust flanges... BTW, I do have the copper gaskets so no issues there...
Thanks again,
