Piston Ring Gap Spacing?

120 degrees is what the Kawasaki KZ650 Factory Service Manual says (the only one handy at the moment) and some of the links I posted say the same. They also say it's not critical as long as the gaps are spaced apart because the rings will rotate during use anyway.
