The 650 sleeves are not capable of being bored over to the 810. you probably already know this but they do make a 700cc wiseco piston kit for the 650's. But for those who want more there is a solution. You can find a set of 1980 kz750 cylinders and have them bored over. This is your solution to having an 810cc 650. The cylinders and head from a 1980 750 are swappable for the 650 parts. I dont know for sure, but u might be able to have 750 sleeves pressed into your block also, but this will probably cost more than just finding the cylinders on ebay.

Thanks for the info. I deffinately want more power. I would like to be able to at least give some of the newer bikes a run for their money. I just don't know if it is going to be worth my time and money to mess with my 650 or if i need to get a 750

First of all it is definately worth the money. You do not need to get a 750 because you can prolly get cylinders and a head from a 750 for under $100. If you can find a set of gpz cams they are the best. $150 later you will have a 650 that is equal to a 750 and still be able to keep your kick starter. I used a 1981 kz750 bottom end for my project just because its what i had around, but i would definately like having a kick starter to use when i wanted. I am running 810 pistons, ported gpz head and cams. Definately a huge difference from stock. Never a dull ride with this bike and it continues to surprise me. I made a few quarter mile runs against a buddys r6, i didnt win but i definately gave him a run for his money in the first quarter mile. Check out my build. Search 810 streetfighter in the search bar.
