performance tweeks

I am looking at increasing the performance of my 1980 kz 1000 ltd. Im looking for any tips, tricks, or mods. Anybody have Ideas, insights, experience?

My personal opinion.
(1) Head work. Send the head out for port work.
(2) Cams. Have the guy doing the port work suggest the cams you need
for the flow you are going to get.

No matter what you do. pistons, compression, carbs, If the head doesn't
flow you will not get the performance you paid for.

XENU
