Oil leak at tach drive was created by SuperTrey
how do you stop the oil from leaking at the tach drive cable where it enters the cylinder head? My 78 kz1000 a2 is leaking like a sieve there. I have taken off the nut to check for seals that may be damaged, and i can't find a seal in there.
Is there supposed to be a seal? an Oring maybe? I have it nice and snug, but it still leaks. It may even be leaking around the little plate that holds all that together at the head.
any suggestions?

The usual culprit is the oil seal on the shaft of the tach drive , very easy to pull and replace.
