Early KZ head repair? was created by Exitpupil

I have a head is was told came off a KZ1000. It does not have the emission air holes in the exhaust ports. It has damage to one valve seat too deep to grind out. Is the head repairable and if so how and at what cost? Thanks

79 KZ1000 LTD B3, 1075 kit, BS34 carbs, high velocity ported heads, K410 cams, V&H pipe w/custom baffle

Check kzzone.com. Seats are done all the time at APE.

Larry Cavanaugh also does head work. Depending on where you are, shipping might be cheaper to send it to him in Pennsylvania. Look for him on here... his screenname is larrycavan
