C designates the piston type and the arrow points to the exhaust side,(forward)

Sorry it took so long to re-post, had to find the paperwork. Anyway, totalseal was the company that came up with the rings for my 20+ year old 1075 kit.

Thanks for the reply. Do you remember if your pistons had the "C" Stamped on them like mine do? Would be nice to just freshen the cylinders and replace the rings on this 5,199 mile engine.

Side Note
I notice in your signature that you have a KZ550 with a 615 kit installed, and turn 13's in the 1/4 mile? The GPz550 bone stock, will do 12.7's at 104 mph. Your's should go faster than that, unless you're carrying more girth.

OK back to the topic at hand.

The XC Rings are thicker, and the pistons already have the wider gap for them. It's the XA Rings that are only available, and the ring groove is smaller. Nice try though.

Humm, stock, it wouldn't run faster than 14.50's. Probably the gearing I suppose, since it would pull through redline in top gear at 135 mph by my buddies speedo. Anyway, back to the subject at hand.

Who is MTC???

You can go larger with the grooves, but not the other way around.
