Thanks!! Yeah I dont see why I can't bore a hole. I've got a large milling machine at my disposal, and I've bored holes before, I dont see the deal. I'll get a local shop to hone it.
As for the valve work, its a bit more critical to be exact, but with the right tools and equipment (and know-how to use them properly), anyone can do it.
