Typical causes are reversed left and right coil wires. Could also be reversed points/detectors under the ignition cover.

can some one post a pic of the part that needs to be turned.the one I thought it was is keyed to the crank no turning it.
You're correct that the advancer itself is keyed to the crank and can only go on one way. However the points cam lobe (the center of the advance where the weights fit into) can be turned 180 degrees. Very easily verified on the 650: there's a scribe mark on the outer edge of the points cam lobe - that mark should point towards the hole in the backplate like in the pic below:

This morning i checked to see if I still have spark at the plugs I'm good there.Checked voltages to everything good there.So I'm down to either I have the carbs hooked up wrong or the points are shot.
Also when I turn the petcock to prime it just pukes gas out of the overflow tubes so I'm not sure what is going on there.
