Well, your source for the cases is going to be eBay...and it may be 'relatively' inexpensive to pick up a set...perhaps less than US$200.00...shipping about $50.00...

A bit difficult to see in your pics so I could be wrong, but it seems you only broke the transmission cover (and bent the pushrod), that shouldn't be too expensive to replace. Is there any damage to the crank cases themselves?

I agree with OnkelB and Tom in that you only broke the trans cover. The part # for the cover is 14025-1240 and it was used on all these bikes so it should be easy to find a used one.

Edit: DOH :pinch: :pinch: :pinch: I see Steell posted the list of bikes while I was typing this post so I'll remove the list.

And don't feel bad I did the same thing way back in 1977. I let the chain get too loose on my 76 KZ900 and then did a first to second powershift. It busted the chain, the cover and bent the pushrod. Then I couldn't get a new cover because it was on backorder from Kawasaki. I ended up having to drive for an hour to another dealer to get a used one from a buddy of mine who worked there.

These XW-ring 630 chains from Z1E look interesting, but haven't yet tried one. They are offered in several different lengths.

Here's a sample listing:

And of course Z1E also carries the sprockets.

Good Luck! :)
