I use the Vista-Cruise. And it was hard to get adjusted just right where it wouldn't drag when off yet hold firm while on.
But by wrapping some 1000 grit sandpaper around your bar and lapping the thing in for a more perfect fit, I now have it adjusted perfectly. So now I can use BOTH hands to offer obscene gestures to rude cagers.
Haven't tried the Cramp Buster yet.

Hey, just wanted to let you all know that my Vista Cruise throttle lock came in the mail, and I installed it in about 5 minutes. Works great, and lets me relax my grip on the throttle once in a while. Much better!

In case anybody was dumb enough to try installing a Vista Cruise with foam grips (the only kind I use), it doesn't work all that well... to get it to bit, you have to use extra long screws. It is MUCH better to install on a fairly stiff/firm grip. I bought one of the grips that are foam but have fake metal chromed plastic so the Vista Cruise will bite some. I have fussed with mine and the foam grips (I buy them about a dozen sets at a time since they only last a couple months).

Another product is the KuryAkyn Univeral Throttle Boss which is basically another paddle deal you locate under your palm to allow you to take your fingers off the grip but maintain throttle pressure. This bit is rubber and you pull a tough rubber strap around the grip and lock it on the other side by putting a hole in the strap over a nub on the other side. It will slip some just like all the other throttle rockers but I have used a wrap of electrical tape to hold it firm on my foam grips. I generally use Grab-On foam grips.

I don't understand that,George...the "Grips" and a "Vista-Cruise" don't even touch each other.(they don't have to)
It's the throttle tube UNDER the grip, that the vista bites onto.
Unless you're using a different style?

If any one wants a cruise control I'll send it for the price of postage. Let me know. I don't know the brand but it is chrome and it was on a 78 KZ1000. The round piece fits over the grip and attaches with set screws. The other piece goes over the top of the switch and attaches to the bars. It won't work with GP touring bars because you can't get enough room between the switch and the master cylinder.
