Leaking from cluth pedal? was created by takuma
Hey guys I just got a 1981 KZ305 and everything has been going great with it but I noticed it is leaking right where the clutch pedal is connected to the engine. Does anyone know what I can/need to do to stop this? Thanks

Clutch pedal? Do you mean the shifter or maybe the clutch release mechanism? Ed

Have you just recently lubed the chain?

I am talking about the shifter.

Yes I did just lube the chain.

Sorry for the delay. It's real common for a newly juicy chain to fling the lube off around the front sprocket. It would look just like the leak you're describing.

No problem Takuma,

I have an Indian with a clutch pedal. I knew what you meant. Like I said I only learned it by running a chain that I had over oiled and run before the excess could drip off.

It can make quite a mess can't it?
