Does anybody have any recommendations on fitting an oil cooler to a J engine? Here's what I've found on the net so far:

1) There's the advanced design unit on the JC Whitney site.

2) Klasmo has some more expensive oil coolers on their site starting around $100.

3) Klasmo also offers some elegant fittings (banjo/ring bolt fittings with hose barbs) to route the oil into and out of the engine case and oil cooler. Including a sharp looking billet adapter for the oil pressure sending unit. Some of the same items show up on americanclassix.com

Are there others out there? Which is the best? Does anybody have an oil map for the J engine or opinions on the best locations on the engine to route the oil from/to?

Cheers,

id steer clear of anything in the jc whitney catalog im sure they probably have some good stuff ,but the majority of it is what you would use only if you were selling the bike and shipping it to a 3rd world country from what i have seen of their stuff.have you tried Z1 enterprises or any of the link sites?goodluck, happy wrenching!
