Starter clutch - while I'm at it was created by ThatGPzGuy

Pulled the motor out yesterday. No major issues there.
I'm replacing/repairing the starter clutch. Is there anything else I should be looking at doing while I'm at it? I don't want this to snowball out of control but if I can replace some seals or...? I'm probably going to replace the clutch plates. Is there anything else I should be checking? Any gotchas on this job?

I wouldn't think so. Of course now is the time to clean the frame area you can never get too with the motor in. Also you can clean, paint, polish engine areas easier now. Anything else (seals, gaskets, etc) is accesable with the motor in frame.

I hear that. I'll be rolling it outside this week to clean out all the gunk.
I went ahead and ordered a bunch of parts I thought I should replace or were cruddy/broken. So much for the for not letting it snowball.
I have clutch questions but I'll post that seperately.
