76 KZ650B exhaust fit 78 KZ650D? was created by KawiConvert

Found an exhaust set for a 76 kz650b and was wondering if anyone knows if it will fit the 78 kz650D? I checked and found that the mac systems don't fit prior to 77 so I was wondering if anyone knows what would make them not fit?

There was no 1976 so there's some confusion on the year. 1977 launched the KZ650B. It should fit, but I doubt the hanger in the back is the same position. You'll have to fabricate your own mount most likely.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
