Is my head junk?

Bent a exhaust valve on #2 cylinder.
After pulling the head this morning I noticed cracks from the exhaust seat on #2 and #3 through the spark plug threads.

anything can be fixed if you have the money.

it can be fixed, but as stated money talks,, what bent the valve and was it running hot before

I seriously doubt those cracks go deep into the metal. It would take a lot of stress to crack the head right through. I would guess they are less than a MM deep...I could be wrong, but I would bet the crack on top for from some ape over tightening a plug.

Send it in to APE (or another qualified motorcycle machine shop) get their opinion, then if its still good get a valve job and that bent valve replaced. If it's no good, or to expensive to repair they will let you know...

I was planning on sending to APE before I noticed the cracks. I bought the bike a month ago, wasn't lean or anything like that.

Don't worry about it. Most KZ have that. If you aren't running a turbo or big nitrous load, it will be fine.
