Valve question was created by kz750ohio
Well my old girl decided to quit on me. The automatic cam chain tensioner stuck open and the chain broke on me. I got lucky and only bent one valve and did not damage any pistons. I noticed though, I have a couple of exhaust valves that are leaking a little. I was considering replacing the exhaust valves and the one intake. The question I have is on the valve brand. Is there a difference between vesrah valve and kawasaki oem or are they about the same.

I will also install new guides from ape all the way around and the tensioner guides because of the wear. My old girl only has 6900 miles on her so any input would be appreciated.

cheers,

max

All this in only 6900 miles? :woohoo: X 2!!

Now, 69,000 miles I could maybe understand.

I'm just to dumbfounded to make a coherent reply right now

In most cases, Veshrah sources parts from the same manufacturers that the oems use.

The factory Kawasaki valve will be about 6 times or more as expensive as the Vesrah

Amen. I got a set of new Vesrah valves for my twin off ebay for about $10 each. Look for RustyRiders LLC as they seem to always be selling NOS valves for old Kawis at a ridiculously low price.
