HD Engine Mounts - Source?

Looking for a source - would like to get HD mounts for a '80 KZ1000.

Any input?

Pingel or Kosman both offer some. Or you can do what I'm doing. I bought a 12"x18" plate of 3/8" thick 6061-T651 and will make my own motor mounts and outboard bearing support. The plate cost $67 plus shipping. I also bought some 1" OD 6061-T651 round bar to make the spacers. I'll have like $20 in the mounts and spacers once everything is cut out. Then its just a matter of finding the oversized bolts and nuts. It'll be way cheaper than buying a kit.

If anyone is making these and wants to sell them.. I'm interested, but I do need clean cuts... as it will be used on a custom. drop me a line.

If you are gonna be doing some frame work with the motor mounts - ya might want to also take a look at the Kosman frame brace kit. It made a HUGE difference on all the bikes I ever installed them on including including my present project. Matter of fact, I have an extra set that I could let go for $ 100 if anyone is interested.
