I have a 1982 KZ1000, it calls for 10W40. Can I use 15W40 instead?

I use Castrol 20W-50, some use Rotella 15W-40, others use MC specific oils. I think you will be fine as long as you do regular oil changes with a good filter. Just make sure whatever oil you use does not have friction modifiers in it.
