Newbie clutch help kz400 78

Wondering if some one can help me determine the name of the part i need, i've looked at the parts diagram but dont seem to see it there? Before i start pardon, the lack of correct terms of the parts im' about to describe

I've taken my clutch cable off because it broke, i got a new cable but in the mean time i lost a part from the clutch internals, what im' trying to describe is there is a little round circle with 3 ball bearings, and the ball bearing piece is in the middle of the 2 female parts that hold the ball bearing piece. I"m looking for the part that has the notch in it, to seat it's self properly.

I know this is very very vague.. any help would be appreciated. Looking for the part name or diagram, so i can confirm and try to source this part out.
