I put gasket on dry and yama bond on the case haves.
All gasket surfaces MUST BE clean and dry.

Yea, Yamabond #4 between the cases and dry on the rest. I learned a long time ago paper gaskets seal just fine without sealer if the surfaces are clean.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I use Permatex #2 on the case halves. I use Permatex copper on the side cover gaskets, one side only. This holds the gasket in place when installing, same with the cam cover. I use this sealer on the threads of the end bolts of the cam cover too...chris3
