SAD DAY

Buuuuummmmmer!
Running down a back road today on my 84 GPZ 750, shifted from 2nd to 3rd, heard and felt a snap and crunch! engine still runs, but if you try to put in gear makes horrid grinding noises, shift lever feels like its not moving the gears. looks like i'll be looking for advice? what tranny will work? Ive heard some discussion about 6 speeds from a kz550? a buddy has a 77 kz650 motor he'll give me. hope to be able to tear into it this weekend. I miss riding already!

I hear you......I remember vividly, the sound of my Z1 eating a cam chain guide and bending over all 8 valves while tooling down the road at 60 mph. Not a pretty sound, zzzzziiiiinnnnngggggg. And, this was in 1975....chris3
