I just replaced my Kerker megaphone and baffle direct from SuperTrapp www.supertrapp.com/ I contacted them via the web and talked to them on the phone. They were very helpful on the phone.

I first bought the new chrome megaphone without the baffle, and then ended up buying the baffle because the old one was stuck solid.

It wasn't cheap, but it's all brand new.

I found these prices from my September 2007 order
Chrome Megaphone: P/N 100-6151 for $238.40

The standard baffle assembly is P/N 100-6351, includes end-cap, baffle and packing. MSRP $122.70 USD

Here's a pic of my KZ1000 with the new part:

2004 Yamaha FZ1 - fastest

I wish the the Meg series were still at that price... So these pipes jumped from $238 to $650 in just 1-2 years????

Wow, did we miss the boat on that one... Hell, if I would have only known, I would bought a truck load of them...

That chrome Kerker just has a way (look) on a KZ900, sweet!

I don't think the prices have changed that much. I only got the 2 parts, I didn't buy the whole system. The baffle alone is $140.00 or so, the Megaphone was just the single chrome peice from the clamp back. The part with the Kerker logo. The entire system was over $600.00 when I bought the parts.

If the end cap is left, I just cut the rest off and used the 1 bolt and 2 pop rivets and put that on. Its louder but not that bad
