Well I got the carbs back from the shop a few days ago and I re-installed everything else I've been tinkering with.

After a little purging she started right up. I'm having a little issue with the headers not seating snug enough at the heads - my question for that is: whats the proper orientation for the little half-circle locks? they don't seem to be pressing/holding anything in closer to the port.

Also, #1 cylinder (furthest to the left when you're on it) is not firing. I'm guessing this from the temperature different on that header (water stands and doesn't steam). The plug doesn't seem wet and (by pulling off the plug boot while it was on and receiving some volts) I'm assuming the plug is firing. Any help there?

Thanks

You did install new crush gaskets on the exhaust ports... right?

Just buy a Harley...

Does the exhaust have stock mounts? It could be aligned incorrectly, if not.
