Engine covers - an ideas guys? was created by KOOL RYDER
Hi :

I am looking for a set of KAWASAKI engine covers, that are new or look new.

I have a 78 KZ650B and am looking to upgrade the appearance.

One of the covers is from a later model (left side) and the other was damaged when the numb nuts at the bike shop dropped my bike and damaged the cover.

I am thinking that one is the sator cover and the other is the points cover, please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks dudes.B)

Rockin\' a KZ650B2 since 2007 and a KZ 1000E since 2008

Seems like the numbnut at the bike shop should replace the cover they damaged........as posted above, check ebay for the part and Kawasaki site parts illustrations to cross reference the part numbers to see if they are the same.....chris3

How bad are the old ones? Unless really gouged up, a little sanding, a little Mothers Alum Polish and some Never-Dull do wonders!!! I have brought back some really grody oxydised and even lightly gouged cases to shiney bright ones! As for Oldkawman you got to catch him on a good day And even then there are no deals. Be sure to oggle Melissia tho! B)
