Grrr...So a little frustration... was created by specs75
I would really like to get this engine running smother and I am trying to find a service manual to reference by. I have the 1980 KZ750 G1 LTD Twin motorcycle and I cannot find a service manual anywhere. I ordered a manual from Clymer but it is only for the 4 cylinder bikes. Because the engine is stamped with a B would the service manual from a '79 KZ750 B motorcycle work for me? Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

There are just minor detail differences between the 79 KZ750B and the 80 750G, for instance the 80 bodywork will fit on the 79, but the 79 sidecovers don't work very well on the 80.
78-79 manual will work for you.
My 79 750B has an 82 motor with electronic ignition, 80 forks (they're identical, but I had just put new seals in the 80 forks so I used them), KZ1000 front disks, 83 GPz750 front calipers, 96 GPz1100 master cylinder, 80 750G tank, sidecovers, and tail, and 750G instruments and exhaust.
Amazing what stuff will interchange isn't it?
