77 kz650 gasket project was created by djcamp10
So i started the gasket project thinking that the gasket was shot(I was wrong) appeared to be just a rubber o ring not seated correctly. so now that I got it back together and it's a tad low on oil i'm gonna do a oil change for the first time. do i need any kind of special oil or will 10w-40 work just fine. any suggestions?

well....everyone has their own preferences and theories on which oil is best but... use a motorcycle oil ... And watch out for synthetics on the 650... running in south carolina my clutch did not like...
Also take your time and look at all the o-rings and gaskets... sucks getting it all back together to find that the o-ring needs to be replaced...
And as your previous post with the cams and timing.... you can find the info here in the archives but make sure it is at tdc 1-4 and count those pins in the cam chain before firing her....
