ANYONE ABLE TO HELP ME OUT ? I HAVE A kz1100 A3 SHAFT DRIVEN BIKE. I AM TRYING TO FIND SOMEONE OR SOMEPLACE I CA NSHIP MY exhaust SYSTEM TO. SO I CAN HAVE IT FIXED CLEANED UPED AND RE-CHROMED... OR WARE I CAN GET A NEW 4INTO2 SYSTEM .. HEAR IS A PICTURE OF IT

Instructions for riding a KZ1100 1) sit on bike, 2) start bike and idle till warm, 3) pull in clutch, put in gear, 4) release clutch and rip on the throttle, 5)VERY IMPORTANT!!HOLD THE F*** ON!!!, 6) Enjoy!! Side effects may include whiplash, wrinkle free skin and an evil smile resembling the"Joker"

Sorry, I once tried to get some pipes rechromed. All the platers told me rudely to ---- off because the dirt in the pipes would crud up their plating tank.

You might check the usual suspects like Vance and Hines, kerker, or MAC to see if they sell a 4-1 set for that application.

You could always throw some heat wrap on them if you like that look. It was a cheaper option for my pipes and I like the look of it. I would have loved to throw new chrome pipes on but I couldnt afford it so I just wraped em. Some say that there is a negative effect on performance with heat wrap and some say there are positives. I use my bike mostly as a commuter and accasional cruise so I may not be riding long enough to notice a difference........my 2$

Header wrap, you can get it at any racing shop.

Thanks.....the exhaust on one of my bikes needs to last a little longer. Some of the pipes are about ready to break through where they are dented. chris3

Mac performance make a chrome 4 ->2 which they say fits all KZ1000s

you are right they fit KZ1000's i have a 1100.. i am sure it wont fit

If you decide to go with heat wrap here is a nice build thread that I found. not our pipes but its the same principle. some nice......i mean NICE pics.:woohoo: Anyway here is how mine turned out.

Ron, another option which I've been thinking about having done to my Mac pipes is Cermachrome.
Somebody up your way might do it.
