I get a sqeeking sound from the starter ,, I will tear it apart tomorrow But any advise before I get there or heads up on what I should be looking for ? It turns over fine ,, atleast for now it is ,,

Noises are hard to diagnose. Before taking the starter apart, I would remove it and clean the hole out (looks like a bushing) that the turning part of the starter rests in and see if the noise doesn't go away.

I watched the Chrome lid before I did any work today ,, and noticed it was moving up and down,, So I did get the starter out ,, I am not sure But the starter gear might be a little loose .. The starter looked ok ?? I can see checking the starter gear will be a big tear down ,, I have a very low milage engine I feel would be a better plan so Out the engine came today ,, I will try and get pics as I know you guys love Pics ,,Later Shoe
