Well, now check your tools before working on the bike.
A simple replace the end cap seals on the valve cover as it starts, figure while I am there check the valves, hmmm, a few too tight, going to order shims, decide to check compression,, DAMN, only have 90lbs +or-, this aint right, add air to the cyls, no leaking, no I am pissed, finally decide to go buy a new compression guage,, whooo, I now have 130 on all cyls, not the best but the moral of the story, MAKE SURE THE TOOLS YOU ARE USING ARE CORRECT, compression gauge, torque wrench, etc, may save some extra work
